Dustin Bernard Allen, age 32, of Burnsville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at his home. A native of Yancey County, he was the son of Janice Deyton Allen Lowe of Hardscrabble and the late Ray Allen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Brian Allen; grandparents: Bernard and Marie Riddle Deyton and an uncle, Gene Deyton. Dustin was a loving son, father and husband that will be greatly missed.
Surviving is his mother and step-father, Janice and Stan Lowe of Hardscrabble; the loves of his life, wife, Sarah Westall and their daughter, Sparrow; brother, James Allen of Nashville, TN and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frankie and Ralph Westall of Burnsville. Several other extended family members also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 17th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Pastor Charlie Robinson will officiate.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to Yancey Funeral Services at 378 Charlie Brown Road, Burnsville, NC 28714 to help with expenses.
