KOELPIN, Eugene G., 88, of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away March 27, 2007, at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. He was born in Queens, N.Y., and came here 30 years ago from North Bellmore, N.Y. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Port Richey, Success Masonic Lodge 1169 Free and Accepted Masons, Veterans of Foreign Wars Chester McKay Post 7987, 4th Infantry Division Association, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 583. He was a World War II, U.S. Army veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Survivors include a son, Michael of New Port Richey, Fla.; a daughter, Judy Koelpin of North Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Marilyn Klein of New Port Richey, Fla.; and one grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007, at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.
