Born May 6, 1924, he was the son of the late Victor and Marjorie Smith Myers.
He was a retired defense engineer of the electronics industry and World War II veteran of the United States Army Air Force. He moved to Douglas, Ga., in 1991, and he is a member of Carver Baptist Church.

Melody Brown of Huntington and
Laurie Newell of Douglas GA,

Gregory Myers of Evansville and
Mark Kessler of Fort Worth, TX,
sister, Marilyn McCracken of Sarasota, FL,
eight grandchildren,
( three step grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.)
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday at Carver Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
