In 1947 where she met and married Orville Wilbur Bohrn. They had four children. In 1951 they moved to McGill, Nevada where she lived until moving to Ely in 2004.
Ellen liked to embroider and crochet but most of all she loved family. She loved and spoiled all of her grandchildren and great children. Ellen worked many years at the Standard Market and Bradleys Market in McGill, and later at Andersons IGA in Ely. She was a kind and caring person and was known and loved by many.
Ellen is survived by three children, Doris Metcalf, Sparks, NV, Christine Powell (Myron) of Kennewick, WA, Howard Eugene Bohrn of Ely, Five grandchildren, Teresa Munson (Craig) Sparks, NV, Melanie Peterson (Mike) Spring Creek, NV, Sarah Powell, Sparks, NV, Mandy Caron, Elko, NV, Walter Bohrn, McGill, NV, 11 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orville Bohrn, son Danny Bohrn, Grandchildren Cynthia Bohrn and Eric Powell.
No services are scheduled at this time. Internment at the Ely City Cemetery will be at a later date.
