Willie Mae Sparks Sparkman, Age 86, passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 7, 2018 at
Life Care of Sparta, after a four year residence there. Willie Mae was born February 26, 1931 in Sparta, Tennessee, the daughter of J.T. Sparks and Laurine Young Sparks.
On December 16, 1950, she married the love of her life, WC Sparkman, at Blue Springs Presbyterian Church.
As a couple they pursued a career in dairy farming. Hilly View Farm in Doyle, Tennessee, became the home where they would raise their three sons, Johnny, Gary, and
Ryan Sparkman. Their farming legacy continues on today to the fifth generation.
Mrs. Sparkman was a long time member of Doyle First Baptist Church. Her life centered around the farm and her family.
She was preceded in death by her, parents, mother-in-law, 'Pearl' Dodson Sparkman, infant sister, brother-in-law, Bob Oliver, and husband, WC Sparkman.
She is survived by sons Johnny and wife Susan, Gary and wife Vivian, all of Tennessee; Ryan and wife Robin of Tennessee. Grandchildren Jacob, Josh, Derrick, Daniel, Mackenzi, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Tyler, Faith, and Logan.
16 Great grandchildren. Also Survived by two sisters, Opal Oliver and Jonela Hutson and husband Bobby all of Tennessee, as well as Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Services will be at Blue Springs Presbyterian Church, Bro. David Copland will officiate. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery.
Serving as pall bearers will be her 10 Grandchildren.
