OBITUARY
A Mass for Sister Francis Clare, 82, of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, Convent Station, will be offered at 6:30 o'clock tomorrow evening in the Holy Family Chapel, Convent Station. Arrangements are by the William R. Dangler Funeral Home, Summit.
Sister Clare was born in Brighton, Mass., and entered the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth on March 25, 1934. She remained a member for 65 years.
Sister Clare earned a degree in education at the College of Saint Elizabeth, Convent Station, and a master of arts degree in education and administration from Seton Hall University, South Orange.
She taught at Saint Agnes School in Paterson and the Immaculate Conception School, Darlington. She later was principal of the Sacred Heart School in Vailsburg, Saint Paul School in Clifton, Holy Cross School in Harrison and Our Lady of Victories School, Harrington Park.
From 1983 on, Sister Clare was an assistant archivist at the Sisters of Charity Motherhouse, Convent Station.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Rita Sullivan.
