A 1971 graduate of Leon High School, he received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, where he was currently a doctoral candidate, and his master's degree from Old Dominion University. He taught high school social studies for five years and was employed as a travel agent in Chicago at the time of his death.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. & Mrs. R. LeMoyne Cash of Tallahassee; a sister, Peggy Motte of Weldon, Calif.; and a brother, Robert of Trenton.
Memorial services will be Monday at Northwestern Chapel in Chicago and Thursday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tallahassee. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made tot he St. Paul's United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund and the Dick Cash Memorial Scholarship, c/o High Life, 550 E. Tennessee St., Tallahassee 32308.
