Dorothy H. “Dot” Hottensen of Newtown, PA died peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown.She was 75.

Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Hottensen was the beloved wife of Paul Hottensen for the past 58 years.

She was the devoted daughter of the late Peter and Helen Mosakowiski Daciuk.

Dot was a resident of the Wrightstown and Newtown community for over 45 years. She worked for several years for Lenox China, in there production and packaging department. Dot and her husband Paul enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the Jersey shore. Her creative ideas with multi color yarn and her talented hands made the most intricate and beautiful Afghans that you could imagine. She loved to take pictures and was a very good baker of pies for family and neighbors. Dot will be remembered for her warm and loving ways and a smile that went a long way.

In addition to her beloved husband, Dot is survived by her dear children, Paul Hottensen, Jr. and his wife Maria, Lisha Russell, her brother Joe Daciuk and his wife Sandy. She is also survived by 3 dear grandchildren; Cassy, John and Patrick.

Dot’s family will receive condolences on Saturday December 30, 2017 from 1:30pm until her Memorial Service 2:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Her Interment was privately held at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
