Anita Willis Block of Roanoke passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Mrs. Block was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Berneice Willis, her brother, Luther Willis, a sister, Virginia Carper, and her husband, Harry E. Block, SR. Anita was a lifelong resident of Roanoke, and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children, Harry E. Block, Jr and wife Sally, Danita A. Block and Ellen R. Rickel, her grandchildren, Anne B. Schumaker, Elizabeth W. Block, Amy Maxey and Cody St. Clair; and a sister, Elizabeth Wolfe.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, December 22, 2017, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Holland officiating.
