Everett F. Huffman, 89, Warren, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday (April 1, 1986) at Miller's Merry Manor. He had been ill for the past five years.
Mr. Huffman was employed as a custodian at the Exchange Bank of Warren and Warren High School for several years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Warren.
He was born Oct. 17, 1897[sic - 1896 ?], in Huntington County, to John Scott and Violet Lucretia Weaver Huffman. His marriage was on Dec. 24, 1919, at Mt. Zion, to the former Flossie Mae Martin, who died Dec. 6, 1985.
Surviving are a brother, Harry Huffman, Rt. 3, Warren, and a half sister, Mrs. Martha Lannerd, North Webster. A brother, Oscar Leo Huffman, and a half sister, Mary Eliot, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home, warren, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Steve Laue officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, warren.
