The ultimate Seminole - a varsity basketball player, all star baseball player, Booster Club President, Gold Chief and life long fan. Buddy was a little league coach, Alpha Tau Omega fraternity brother and most importantly a father, grandfather, husband, brother and son. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed.

Alwyn Clymer "Buddy" Cash, Jr. 79, born September 14th 1938 passed on November 18th.

Buddy was the eldest child of Ruth and Alwyn Clymer Sr. He was born and grew up in Tallahassee with younger siblings Bill and Becky. He was an active youth lead to playing multiple sports at Leon County High School, even getting inducted into their Sports Hall of Fame for his exploits in baseball. Bud did not stray far from home as he went on to attend FSU, playing collegiate Baseball and Basketball, graduating in 1961. He remained a die-hard Nole supporter the rest of his life, with his devotion to them exceeded only by the love and support to his family.

At Florida State, Bud would meet Maryjane, beginning their relationship that would lead to 53 years of marriage. They settled in South Florida and would have three sons. Bud was a sales representative selling paper products for over 30 years and prided himself for never missing a quota. Bud's love of sports would have him heavily involved with all three boys as they grew up playing ball at Pasadena Lakes Optimist in Pembroke Pines. He coached on practically every baseball or basketball team they played on along with introducing them to a wide variety of other sports and activities. Bud enjoyed the many family vacations he was able to take them on, along with going to as many FSU games as he could. More generous than he would ever care to admit, Bud supported family, friends, and too many causes to count. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by wife Maryjane, sons William "Bill", Kevin & daughter-in-law Karla, Bryan, brother William and sister Becky, three grandchildren, (Justin Clymer, Austin and Skyler), four step grandchildren, Jonathon, Lilly, Dillon and Ronny).

A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 5:30 PM at Fred Hunter Funeral Home 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, FL 33024.
