Mom's uncle Hughey was born in Ste Calixte Quebec, near Montreal/Rawdon. He and wife (Rose) Anna had two sons, one was a railroad foreman and after retiring, bought a cab to drive in Montreal. His brother-in-law Mike Ryan (my mom's maternal uncle) drove for Hughey sometimes; Mike was a terrible and fast driver, one for the books. See his memorial, via Hughey's wife Anna's memorial. Mom recall's Hughey used to keep his cab (or cab engine?) warm with a blanket and a light bulb. He visited brother in law Mike's log cabin/home cabin home often. Possibly Mike's other log cabin too on Lake Clear (Lac Clair).
