Curtis P. Isham, age 55, of LCO, died Friday, November 10, 2017 at his home.

Curtis Paul Isham was born on December 13, 1961 in Hayward, WI the son of James Denomie and Shirley Ann Isham and was raised by his mother and step-father Thomas Miller. He attended school at Hayward and LCO. Curt lived in LCO, Hayward and Manitowoc, WI before returning back to Hayward. He worked various jobs around the area and most recently worked in Maintenance for LCO Tribal Government. Curt was united in marriage to Kelli Fowler on July 4, 2015 at Pipestone. He enjoyed the casino, playing horseshoes, the Minnesota Vikings, county music and his bear collection. He especially liked hanging out with friends and spending time with his dog Bullet.

He is survived by his wife Kelli A. Fowler-Isham; sons Darren (Kristina) Kagigebi, Jason Morrow and Charles Jared Kagigebi; daughters Ona Jean Isham-Herber, Aja Isham; step-son Sammy Gonzalez, William Fowler; step-daughters Veva Gonzalez, Mary Fowler, Belinda Guibord; nine grandchildren; brothers Rick (Roberta) Denomie; Pat, Jim; sisters Roxanne & Mary Jo Isham, Dorothy & Dawn Denomie; many nephews, nieces and cousins; and his canine companion Bullet.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, James Denomie and Shirley Isham; step-father Thomas Miller; first wife Theresa Bennett Isham; grandmother Irene Isham; grandfather Leo Isham; sister Corrine “Reenie” Isham; step-son Logan Guibord; niece Christina “Ditterz” Dennis; Uncle Cye Isham; aunt Joyce Isham Meyer; cousin Roy Isham.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14th at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.

Honorary casket bearers will be Cory Cross, Louie Corbine, David Isham, Richie Isham, Phillip Martin, Bruce Miller, Stuart Miller, Doug Potack, Gilbert Richards, Johnny Smith Sr., John Pete Trepanier, Josh Trepanier and Steve Thayer.

Casket bearers will be Gary Belille, Stuart Belille, Sammy Gonzalez, Karl Kuykendall, Johnny Martin and Charles “Chucky” Smart.
