Alexandra, Mary Wilbanks: Friday night, November second, the death angel visited our little town and claimed for its victim Mrs. Mary Wilbanks Alexandra, wife of Alex Alexandra. They had been married a little over two years. She had been sick for some time and her friends hoped that she would get well, but instead of growing stronger she had drooped day by day, until all, even the fond heirs which watched over her saw that she was surely passing away. It seemed almost impossible for those to whom her presence was sunlight to give her up, yet we know that God does every thing for the best. She was a christian lady, had grown up at Pleasant Hill and went to school at the academy for years. [Date: 11/7/1912, Vol. X, No. 45, Page 3]
