Formerly of Bloomingdale Peter "Odie" L. Odden, age 66, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Denver City TX. Pete was born January 25, 1946 in Watseka, IL, the son of Clifford and Catherine Odden.
He was a long time resident of the Bloomingdale area and had spent the past 14 years in Texas. Pete was gifted with a great sense of humor. He was an avid White Sox fan, loved Nascar, football, golf and bowling. Pete also served his country in the US Army.
Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Jeretta; five children; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchild; two brothers, Thomas and Robert; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will meet friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the BLOOMINGDALE CHAPEL, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
