Brian attended St. Mark's School of Texas and The University of Texas. It was while working in the UT Austin Co-Op bicycle shop that his love of cycling flourished. He would go on to race competitively for a Schwinn-sponsored team. He also represented Texas in the in the U.S. National Road Race Championships and qualifying events for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. An avid sportsman, Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting and competitive shooting. He was a true motorcycle enthusiast and made numerous trips with his friends riding across multiple states. He worked for his family's namesake company, Bilbo Transports, which was founded in 1915 by his grandfather, Victor Clifford Bilbo, and is the oldest trucking and transportation company in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Brian also worked as a court coordinator for the Dallas County Criminal Courts where he was beloved by his coworkers. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Clifford Bilbo, Jr. and Geraldine "Jeri" LePori.
