Mrs. Susan "Estelle" Hobgood Allen, a native of Pitt County, lived her early life in the Farmville Community. She later lived in the Kings Crossroads Community for a number of years prior to making her home in Greenville in 1963. She was a homemaker and was engaged in farming with her husband and was a member of Kings Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and a sister and her husband, Kenneth Elmo Allen, Sr.
