R. June Drewes, 82, of East Hempfield Township passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She is the wife of Charles F. Drewes, III. Born in Pequea Township on June 9, 1935 a daughter of the late James E. and Josephine (Singleton) Booth.

She was a 1953 graduate of Manor-Millersville High School. June was a Department Manager at Food Fair Stores and later Pantry Pride in Lancaster. She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, a member of the Iris Club, the Four Seasons Club, and the Buffalo Gals & Sidekicks.

Surviving in addition to her loving husband are two daughters, Lorrie M. Elms and Charity A. Drewes; a son, Douglas E. Drewes husband of Shirley; three sisters, Ruth, Marie, and Jane; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend June's Memorial Service at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Lancaster on Friday November 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Clifton D. Eshbach officiating. The family will greet friends following the Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in June's memory may be made to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3131 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.
