Fashion Designer. Born Michael Anthony Knight, Jr. He was an American fashion designer who was born in Nuremberg, Germany but spent his childhood in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Washingtonville Senior High School in Washingtonville, New York in 1966. After graduating from high school he attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. In 2001 he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising. He broke into the fashion industry while working at Wilburn Exclusives in 2001 and in 2002 he became a fashion stylist in the music industry. As an established fashion stylist, he eventually made it on to season three, "Project Runway," which aired on Bravo at the time and where he won the fan favorite award and placed fourth in the overall competition. He debuted his self-named fashion line on BET's "Rip the Runway" in 2007. In 2009 he was featured on "Project Runway: All-Star Challenge" and was a contestant on the third season of "Project Runway All Stars" in 2013. He also appeared on the reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
