Rio - the "Best Boy." Rio was such a sweet, lovable boy. He would tell you with the "wigging" of his cocker spaniel stubbie tail exactly what he wanted. There were so many options. His favorite activities ---- swimming and "diving." Rio was content to "dock" in the arms of the humans he loved most. He could take or leave the jet ski. Rio loved to chase the spray of the water hose in the yard with sister Roxxi. He knew exactly when it was time for his daily special ....."look see!" But it was urgent when it was time for his "banana puppy treats." Rio loved taking walks and going for rides in the car to sniff the steaks and burgers cooking at the local restaurants, with parking lots full of "birdies!" Rio would place his paw ever so softly on us as if to ask "what are we going to do next" or to express a need. He would immediately respond to the answer by going near his leash, running to the door or food area, or going to his comfy bed to await the next que. Sometimes we just let him make the decision by asking a series of questions; just watch his tail. It would be ever so still until you hit upon the right answer, then it would wag like crazy. He gave "agility" a serious try since sister Roxxi liked it so much. But he decided, that was not the thing he wanted to spend time on. He wanted to be with his humans in other ways. Rio was so loved and cared for - "daddy's heart dog." Never will there be another Rio. He was pampered in his last days as usual....except that his humans never left his side. Rio will be coming home to be with his family because his family just cannot turn loose of this precious, precious pet. With fond memories of his mommie Grace Marie (ch. Jerabee's A Mazing Grace), sister, and brothers "Floyd" & " Shakey"- they were the "PRIDES & JOYS." Much appreciation is owed "Gracie." Thanks to Pet and Animal Lovers Services in Phoenix, AZ for their important service to pets and the people who love them. Rio and his family & friends give thanks to Canyon Animal Hospital for their special treatment and handling of our "Best Boy." One of a kind, never again.ENGLISH COCKER SPANIEL: Merry and responsive, alive with energy.
