ANTHONY BOTTEON AGE: 78 HIGHLAND PARK Anthony J. Botteon, 78, of Highland Park died yesterday at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Italy, he lived in Highland Park for many years before moving to Cream Ridge. Mr. Botteon worked as a film technician for Film Counselors Inc. in New York City for many years before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park, where he was a former usher and member of the Holy Name Society. He was a fourth-degree and charter member of Knights of Columbus Council 6306 in Highland Park. He was a former member of the Italian-American Independent Club of Highland Park. He had served as a sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lea, in 1980, and by his brother, Ernest Botteon in 1992. He is survived by two sons, Mark Botteon of Highland Park and Anthony Botteon Jr. of Ma-plewood, and his second wife, Ruth of Cream Ridge. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Ave., Highland Park, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Education Memorial Fund of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, 502 Raritan Ave., Highland Park, NJ 08904.
