She was survived by her husband, Myron Ford Abbott of Monroe; three daughters, Judy Jennings and husband Tim of Downsville, Christie Taylor and husband Doug of Sterlington, and Luciann Abbott of Baton Rouge; one son, Donnie Abbott of Monroe; and 9 grandchildren.
