He is best remembered now as the father of Reverend Haig Yardumian. His birth and death dates come from a family tree but are possibly just estimates. He is believed to have been born in Injirle. Besides Rev. Haig, Yeghia had two other children Arshag and Pailatzou with his first wife Filor (Flora) and eight more with his second wife named either Yester or Santought. It is known that his son Haig was born in Marsovan, Turkey, while Yeghia attended Marsovan Theological Seminary graduating in 1868. After graduation he preached at Injirli where he was ordained as well as Chakmak and Eylenje. In 1890 he moved to preach in Soungourlu until his death. As Armenian graves of this period no longer exist his grave is likely now lost.
