Ina Mae Tisdale, 74, of Blue River died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her home. She was born April 25, 1937 the daughter of Clifford and Eva (Adams) Elliott. On October 26, 1957 Ina married John Tisdale at the Blue River United Methodist Church. John preceded Ina in death on March 12, 2011. Ina was a faithful member of the Blue River United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She attended UW Platteville and received her teaching degree. Ina taught school for 2 years at area rural one room schools before her daughters were born. She taught for many years and enjoyed volunteering at Riverdale Story Hour years ago. Ina loved children. She enjoyed going to the Blue River Meal Site and playing euchre with friends and family.

Ina Mae is survived by her daughter and son-in-law. April and Louie Eitsert, and their sons: Ethan (Krista) and Elias, and her daughter and son-in-law, June and Bruce Young and their children: Jesse, Jackson, Jonas, Justus, and Jakan, three great-grandchildren, Kaci, Kira, and Ella, two sisters, Desirre Elliott, Darcie (Dan) Meister, 4 sisters-in-law, Becky Varney, Sharon Tisdale, Joyce Tisdale, and Edith Tisdale, special uncle and aunt Jack and Pat Elliott. many other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Blue River United Methodist Church with Reverend Angie Steinhauer officiating. Burial will be at the Blue River Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the Blue River United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at 4:00 PM.
