Jean Yelton, of Peachtree City, GA passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late A. Furman and Geneva Foxx Carr, and the wife of Raleigh Yelton, who passed away in 1998. She was also preceded in death by brothers: Harold, Marshall and Charles Carr.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in the chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 PM prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Holcombe Cemetery in Burnsville
