Mr. John Monroe Williamson, age 74, husband of Mrs. Doris Hardee Williamson, passed away September 29, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Williamson was born October 22, 1942 a son of the late Hursel Bailey Williamson and the late Airvee Collins Williamson.

Mr. Williamson loved hunting and fishing and was predeceased by one brother, Bruce Williamson.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Williamson is survived by two sons, Barry (Cheryl) Williamson of Mullins, Gary (Mellissa) of Galivants Ferry, two daughters, Sherry (Aubrey) Young, of Galivants Ferry, Glenda (Paul) Owens of Nichols, one brother, Lloyd Williamson of Loris, two sisters, Cassandera Hayes of Sumter, Helen Duros of Aurora, Colorado, his grandchildren, Curtis, Wesley, Kevin, Cameron, Hunter, Brandon, Nick, Fisher, Jacob, Reagan, and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Khloe, Karoline, Amber, Megan, and Colton.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday October 1, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

A graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery with the Rev. Michael McCracken and Curtis Baynes officiating
