Alice Faye Johnston, 75, died on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Woodland Nursing Home in Clinton, MS
Ms. Johnston was born January 30, 1942 to James Luther and Zuma Parkerson Johnston. She graduated from Clinton High School. Throughout her life, she was an active member of Westhaven Baptist Church and Creston Hills Baptist Church. She retired from Jitney Jungle Food Stores.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Ms. Joyce Guthrie and Ms. Sybil Creel.
She is survived by her brothers, Colon Johnston (Brenda), Shelly Johnston (Irene) and Noble Johnston (Mae); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Lakewood Funeral Home with funeral services to follow in the chapel. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or BMA Missions Dept, 4226 Highway 15 North, Laurel, MS 39440 or your choice of charity.
