Born in Trenton, Lloyd was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Trenton High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed with the Department of Corrections for over 25 years prior to his retirement as a sergeant. Lloyd was a past member of the American Legion Post No. 93 of Trenton.
Predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Helen (Knowles) Aaronson, he is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Sandra L. (Cheesman) Aaronson; his two sons, Bradley Aaronson of Bordentown and Timothy Aaronson and his wife, Vanessa, of Allentown, NJ; his daughters, Jennifer Stewart and her husband, Michael, of Brick, and Jill O'Dwyer and her husband, Paul, of Chesterfield, and his grandsons, Connor and Cole O'Dwyer.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.
