ANSBACK - August A. "Gus" Jr., 89, of Louisville died peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2007 after a long attempt to recover from a stroke. He was a retired motion picture projectionist and stage hand of 50 years, and a past president of the Moving Picture Machine Operators, Louisville Local #163 (IATSE). He was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force and the U.S. Army. He was a Catholic by faith. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Rita Osborn Ansback and his three children; a son, Gus Ansback (Ruth) of Louisville, and his two daughters, Patricia Lucas (David) of Tucson, AZ and Joey Ansback of Louisville. He also cherished his surviving five grandchildren, Jill Ford, Jeff Warner, Bert, Evan and Ellie Ansback and his five great-grandchildren Spencer and Sydney Ford and Rachel, Ryan and Olivia Warner. There will be a private funeral and burial. In lieu of flowers expression of sympathy may be made to your charity of choice.
