Alton Herman Sane, age 63 of Newport, passed away, Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Gregg Sane; father, Cecil Sane; Sisters, Vela Mae Sane, Margaret Sane, and Mary Belle Daniels; brother, Athan Sane; mother-in-law, Betty Miller; father-in-law, Avery H. Miller; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Cabell.
He is survived by his wife, Karen “Dale” Sane; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Ashley) Sane and Travis (Leslie) Sane; granddaughters, Lilianna Sane and Isabella Sane; sisters, Vavalee Cummings, Lucy Sane, Flora Butterworth, and Sylvia (Emmitt) Turner; brothers LV Sane, Mack Sane, Lloyd Sane, Lonnie Sane, Ed (Becky) Sane, Willis “Bill” Sane; sisters-in-law, Linda (Larry) Holt and Bonnie (Charles) Biddle; brothers-in-law, Terry (Debbie) Miller and Rev. Gary (Teresa) Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and Centerview Elementary School Family.
Funeral Services will be at 5:00 pm, Monday, September 25, 2017 at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Miller and Rev. Mike Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Centerview Missionary Baptist Church in the Miller section.
