Steven A. Mottola, 52, of Aberdeen died at home. Mr. Mottola was a retired music teacher, having been employed by the Woodbridge Township Board of Education for 25 years. He also owned and operated the Steven Mottola Orchestra for Weddings. Born on Aug. 7, 1952, in Newark, Mr. Mottola lived in Aberdeen for three years and was previously from Holmdel. He was a 1974 graduate of Jersey City State College, receiving a B.A. degree in music education. He was preceded in death by his father, John Mottola. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diane Mottola; a son, Steve R.; daughter, Heather J.; his brother, John, and his mother, Catherine Mottola.
