Television Director. Screenwriter. Born in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, he is best known for directing television serial episodes for 1960s action shows such as "Combat!,", "The Rat Patrol," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." and "Mannix." After beginning his career during the 1950s, Roley would accumulate a large body of work from shows such as "77 Sunset Strip," "Rawhide," "Lost in Space,""The Name of the Game," "Mission: Impossible," "Kojak," "Baretta" and "Hawaii Five-O." He also directed the feature films "How to Steal the World" (1968) and "The Loners" (1972). In addition to directing, Roley wrote several episodes for the 1950s television series "Wagon Train."
