a daughter of Bennett Combs Duff and Laura Jane Williams

My husbands Mother
Such a sweet, quiet and caring person. Loved the quiet talks I had with her. Eva loved her soaps and tv shows. She was a very hard working woman. Her house was always so Clean and she put out the most beautiful garden every year. She could can up anything and made bread and rolls that still make my mouth water to think of them. She came from a family of 16 children and had 14 children of her own so she never had a lot of worldly goods in her life, but with so many to love and to love her, I'm sure she didn't miss them too much. She had more than money could ever buy. We miss you Eva.

(picture taken in 1939)
the picture of the 11 children was taken at the time when there were 12 of the children born. Robert was taking a nap when the picture was taken so below is a picture of him and baby sister Barb with Clyde and Eva. Norma and Kenny were yet to arrive.
