Little Ashley Lauren Quarles, daughter of Jeremiah and Kim Quarles of Folkston, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 22, 2002. She was born May 22, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida, and lived with her parents in Folkston.


She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers: Charles Scarbrough, Sr. and Calvin Goss. Other survivors include her sister, Allissa Quarles, brother, Dakota Quarles both of Folkston; paternal grandparents, Michael and Janet Quarles of Tunnel Hill; maternal grandparents, Ray, Sr. and Beverly Scarbrough of Folkston; great-grandparents, J.T. and Anita Quarles of Tunnel Hill, Leon and Mickey Ledford of Chatsworth; James and Mae Truett of Folkston, Ruth Scarbrough of Callahan, FL; several aunts, uncles and cousins.


Funeral services will be held Monday, March 25, 2002, at 3:00 p.m. from the Victory Baptist Church in Folkston with Reverend Jeremiah Quarles and Reverend Sam Crosby officiating. Interment will follow in the Homeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA, after 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Ponders Funeral Home.
