Memories of Mrs. Betty Bailey. She was a Gamecock Sweetheart for the Carolina Gamecocks. She always remembered that time & spoke of it often. Even though she retired, she wanted to keep working. Betty loved her dogs, Daisy & Chico and cat Bo. She would feed them by hand when no one else was watching. She explained they were too skinny. She loved taking walks and smelling the flowers that grew all over the yard of the house she lived in Florence. The last time I spoke and visited with her, I took my dog and she was feeding him the same way she would her dogs- chewing the food in her mouth and then giving it to Gabriel. He liked it. We enjoyed a Tea Party at my house in Florence. She was truly a genuine lady who was very genteel. We all miss her.
