Ralph W. Touvell, 72, of Zanesville, died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Genesis Good Samaritan hospital. He was born August 8, 1934, in Zanesville, a son of the late Ralph L. and Dorothy Adams Touvell. He retired from Anchor Glass as a mould maker after 37 years of service. He was a member of Eagles #302 and American Legion Post #29 and was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and bowler. Surviving are two daughters, Cathy(Robert)Lee of Zanesville and Lorri(Andy)Plankenhorn of Hazel Green, Alabama; a son, Brian Touvell of Nashport; seven grandchildren, Jodi, Lisa, Stacy, Megan, Adam, Christian and Amanda; eight great grandchildren, Mariah, Carrigan, Gage, Dylan, Billy, Cordelia, Serenity and Madison; four sisters, Cecil(Lawrence)Soller of Zanesville, Vera Hartley of Crooksville, Ruth(Paul)Burkett and Dorothy(John)Mitchell, all of Zanesville; a brother, Walter(Shirley)Touvell of Zanesville and a special friend, Jean Dingus of Zanesville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Touvell and two sisters, Betty Jean Lutz and Joyce Cook.
