Gary Lee Adams, 56, of Alma, AR died Saturday, February 12, in a local nursing home. He was a roofer for Adams Roofing Company in Alma, and attended the Block Holiness Church in Van Buren. Memorial service will be at 2 pm Wednesday in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren. Mr. Adams was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. He is survived by his wife Janel Adams of Van Buren, AR, a daughter Megan Adams of Van Buren, AR, 2 sons; Gary Adams of Fort Irwin, CA, Michael Adams of Van Buren, AR, 3 stepsons; David Kehl of Alma, AR, John Jenkins of Alma, AR, Jeff Jenkins of Van Buren, AR, 3 sisters; Tammy Meadows of Fort Smith, AR, Sharon Sharber of Flagstaff, AZ, Patricia Edwards of Arkansas, 7 brothers; Ronnie Huff of Bismarck, ND, Billy Huff of Van Buren, AR, Tim Adams of Alma, AR, Steve Adams of Alma, AR, Harold Adams of Fort Worth, TX, Larry Adams of Fort Smith, AR, and Virgil Huff of Arkansas, AR, and 14 grandchildren.

On August 9, 2019, I found an error linking Tim and Gary Adams to Harold E Adams as a sibling. This is wrong. Harold E Adams born in 1927 is actually Lloyd Adams brother and NOT a son to Lloyd and Rena Adams. I have submitted to have it corrected but for documentation purposes, this Harold E Adams born 1927 is NOT the son to Lloyd and Rena, nor the brother to Tim and Gary Adams. There is a Harold Adams that is their son and Tim and Gary's sibling but he is born closer to 1960 and is still alive as of this date.
