Clarice Thompson Ator formerly of Houston Texas and recently of Kansas City, passed peacefully into the arms of her loving Savior on August 2,1917 while at home with her Kansas City family. She was preceded in death by her husband S. H. Ator Jr.in 1992. She is survived by her oldest son, Bryan Ator and Tina Bistline of Forney, Texas, and his son Clinton Ator; her youngest son, Greg Ator and wife Dana Ator, along with their children Melissa, Jonathan, Valerie, and David of Mission Hills, Kansas.
Her obit was published in the Houston Chronicle on August 19, 2017.
Off the many things Clarice did in her life, she was very active in her church life. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and actively cultivated her genealogy interests.
One of Clarice's very good friends is Winona Wilkinson from Houston. Winona has been good enough to provide Clarice's first name as Bertha through Find A Grave Bobbi Scott.
F.A.G. Ken Jones has passed but in 2010, he made a memorial page for Clarice, 7 years before she passed. As such, I am leaving this memorial up because it recounts the many beautiful parts of Clarice's life.
