A wonderful, sweet woman has passed from this life. A gentle woman who loved everyone, left this world to continue her journey on the other side. She called it the beginning of forever and looked forward to the day she would join Jesus and her beloved husband. That day arrived January 6, 2015.
Dorothy was born September 24, 1916 in Woodward, Okla. to John Henry Bussell and Sarah Bel (Tune) Bussell. Dorothy married the love of her life, Emery “Ike” Davis June 1, 1933. They moved to Ashland in the early ’40s. Emery passed away in 1994.
Dorothy and Emery had four sons, Marvin, Don, Lloyd, and Ron. Marvin and Don preceded Dorothy in death. Marvin’s wife, Helen and Don’s wife, Maxine continued to be a great comfort to Dorothy. Lloyd resides in Ashland with his wife, Maureen Nelson. Ron resides in Medford with his wife, Brenda Davis.
