Jean C. Cannon, 91, passed away August 12, 2017 in Vancouver, Wahington. She was born June 30, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Carmella Pasquerala and Edward DeCapite.
Jean was married to Paul G. Cannon Jr. for 54 years. They moved to Vancouver, Wahington in 1979.
Jean worked as a factory worker during World War II and was a homemaker for many years bringing up her six children.
Jean enjoyed crocheting, reading, and doing daily crossword puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her grand-children and great-grandchildren.
She sang with the Marshallaires and the Vancouver Church Singing Christmas Tree in Vancouver, Washington. Jean was an active member for the VFW Auxiliary Post 1863 in Solon, Ohio.
Survivors include daughters, Maryjean Cannon, Patti Michel (Chuck), Barbara Lipnos, Susan Cannon, Lois Missey (Scott); son, Paul Cannon III (Tammy); 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene D. Schmidt; and one brother, William DeCapite (Rose).
A funeral Mass was on August 17, 2017, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17010 NE 9th St., Vancouver, Washington 98684. Interment was at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
The family suggests remembrances to Hospice Southwest in Vancouver, Washington.
