Lyle J. Svoboda of Lander entered Heaven at age of 90 on August 10. He was born and raised in St. Paul, NE. He enlisted in the Navy after graduation, and served in the Pacific during WWII. He graduated from Chillicothe Business College with a degree in accounting. While working for Ohio Oil in Casper he met and married Irene Swartfager.
His son, Paul, and his beloved wife of 55 years preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children, David (Nita) Svoboda of Casper, Alan Svoboda of Lander, and Anita (Doug) Kinghorn of Fayetteville, AR; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 17, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lander.
