Olive Dale Ross, daughter of James A. Ross and Julia Rosetta "Zetta" (Canaday) Ross.
She was raised in Albany, Missouri by her grandmother, Mrs. Caleb Canaday and son Thomas Canaday.
Ollie Ross married Lovett J. Whaley on September 25, 1910 in St. Joseph, MO by Rev. G.W. Mitchell. No children born to this union.
After her husband's death in October 1931, Mrs. Whaley went to Kirksville, Missouri where she entered the Kirksville School of Osteopathy. After obtaining her degree there, she went immediately to Billings, Montana, where she had since practiced.
Survived by two aunts, Mrs. Marion Fugett of Sheridan, Wyoming and Mrs. Will Ireland of Stanberry; two nieces, Misses Sally and Jean Magee, and four cousins, Hobart Ireland of Darlington and Carl, Elwood and Forrest Fugett.
