MOUNT UNION, January 7. - Mrs. Ella Wilson, widow of William Wilson, died at her home here at 4:30 a.m. Monday, January 5, after a short illness. Her husband died suddenly on September 18, 1940. Mrs. Wilson was born December 25, 1863, at Blacklog, the daughter of Abraham and Caroline (Gilliland) Bollinger. She was united in marriage with William Wilson in 1883 and they went to housekeeping near Shade Gap. Later they lived in Shirleysburg where Mr. Wilson was steward at the county home. In 1928 they moved to Mount Union. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Methodist church and of the Ladies' Bible class. She is survived by three children, Ralph Wilson, at home, Florence Wilson, R.N., of Lewistown and Mrs. Jay Rummell of Mount Union.
