Obituary for Kara Jo Roberts Horton
Kara Jo (Roberts) Horton of Danville, was born July 16, 1976 and left her earthly home at St. Marys Hospital on July 16, 2017 on her birthday.
She was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, and attended Scott High School.
She is survived by three children; Justyn, Mackenzie and Jaren Horton whom she loved dearly, and spouse Shane. She is also survived by mother; Karen Roberts, grandmother; Rose Mary Miller of Madison, brothers; Steve (Leisha) of Caldwell, OH, John (Margaret) of Wilmington, NC and Paul (Christi) of Kernersville,NC and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her father; Drexel, brother; Rodney, grandfather; Frank Miller and grandparents; Lon and Ruby Roberts and several cousins.
Special thanks to Roxanne Hurley Dickens and Michelle Houser for being there.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Rev. Harley Egnor, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Roberts Cemetery on Mud.
Friends may call an hour prior to the service.
