She and Walter Francis Ham were married on August 31, 1898 in Washington County, Arkansas.
In 1920, Lena was manager of the Horn Millinery store in Fayetteville. Her husband Walter was head of the Farmers Exchange store and a member of the Fayetteville City Council.
Burial is in Combs Chapel Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
