Dean was the owner/operator of the Old Stage Kennels of Waynesville and had barbered for 26 years in West Milton. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a licensed pilot and a member of the RC Flying Club of Greenville.
In addition to his parents and step father he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Wehrley April 20, 1990.
Dean is survived by his wife Gail Ann (Skidmore) Besecker of Greenville. They were married November 21, 1972. Also children Christopher (Julie Moore) Besecker and Matthew (Michele) Besecker all of Troy, Tammy (Dave) Beals of Monroe and Jeffrey Besecker and friend Donna Bernardi of Connecticut; 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, step sister Judy Grodzensky of Cincinnati, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday June 26, 2017 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Jeff Harper officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday June 26th from 5:00 PM until time of the services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
