Eva Leah Adams, age 76 of Amsterdam, Missouri died Monday, July 17, 2017 at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born March 3, 1941 to John Preston and Artie Mae Bailey Thompson.

Eva is survived by her husband, Jerry Adams of Amsterdam, Missouri; a daughter, Anita Kershner and husband Rick of Amsterdam, Missouri; four stepsons, Darrell Adams and wife Saundra of Independence, Missouri, Curtis Adams and wife Tina of Carthage, Mississippi, Carson Adams and wife Kellia of Charleston, South Carolina, Loren Adams and wife Carrie of Charleston, South Carolina; three brothers, A.C., Ricky and Gary Thompson all of Talhlequah, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Sue of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cressie of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jesse and Everett Thompson; and one sister.
