Shirley Onita Maxberry, age 79, was born on August 23, 1937 in Thayer, Missouri to parents Daniel Isaac Rogers and Rosa Mask. She passed away on July 10, 2017 in Burleson, Texas.
She is survived by daughters, Gerry Maxberry, Karen Abshire, Dee Ann Thomas and spouse Linc Layman, Rhonda Hubbard and spouse Michael Hubbard, Sister Virginia Rankin, and brother James Rogers, Grandchildren Michael Alderman, Jennifer Dowty, Misty Overby and spouse Cory Overby, Sheila West, Steven West and spouse Stephanie West, Amanda Hubbard and seven great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Glen D Maxberry loving husband of 45 years and brothers and sisters, RC, Dee, Joanne, and Evelyn.
Heaven has received another angel and she is at peace now. Shirley was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. We will miss her in this life but will see her again in heaven.
Visitation will be held Sunday July 16, 2017 at Shannon Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Monday July 17, 2017 at Shannon Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Officiating is Chaplain Johnson.
Burial is at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery Dallas Texas at 2:00 pm immediately following service.
