TUCKER -- William Frank, Jr., born May 19, 1921, in Tulsa, OK, to Margaret and William Frank Tucker, the middle child, between Jean and Tommy. He attended Lee School, Horace Mann, Tulsa Central High School and the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He served as a Navy Carrier Fighter Pilot in WWII. He returned to college in 1946, at the University of Tulsa, where he earned a Law degree and graduated as a top student. Following in his father's footsteps, he was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa Club. He practiced law with his partner (and cousin), John L. Boyd. He was married to Ann Wilkins Tucker, for 18 years. In 1968, he married Margaret Haney Campbell and adopted her 2 children, Angel and David. They formed a close family, which brought Bill unlimited pleasure. His 2 grandchildren are Angel and Mark's son, Max Bruner and David and Dee Ann's son, Evan Campbell. In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by: his brother, C.D. Tommy Tucker; and his sister, Jean Tucker Colpitt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill will be missed by his friends from grade school through college, his Navy and law colleagues and his loving family. Graveside service 2:30 p.m., Friday, June 9, 2006, at Rose Hill Mausoleum Chapel. Moore's Rosewood, 744-1202. Obituary provided by Tulsa World.
