Epworth - Mr. William Neal Burgess, 50, died Sunday, February 25, 2007, in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, Ga. Mr. Burgess was born in Savannah, Ga., on February 3, 1957. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ellijay, Georgia. He was a master wood-worker. He is survived by his wife, Connie Burgess of Epworth; daughters and a son-in-law, Sarah Wilcox of Savannah, and Jessica and Terry Cook of Savannah; parents, Doris H. Stokes Burgess and William D. Burgess of Garden City, Ga; grandmother, Pearl Tillen of Pooler; brothers, "Dennis" Paul Burgess and Andra Burgess, both of Savannah; sister, Patricia Gail Lawrence of Jasper, Ga; and four grandchildren, Devin Wilcox, Cameron Griffin, Hailey Griffin, and Layla Stevens; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-9 P.M. Friday at the West Chatham Chapel of Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home in Pooler. Services will be 11 A.M.. Saturday in the Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Elkins Cemetery on Highway 204. Pallbearers will be Les Foreman, Jason Foreman, Kevin Stokes, Dale Stokes, Hank Stokes, Nick Richey and Dennis Paul Burgess, Jr. Thomas C.
